This page explains what personal data FrontEndART Software Ltd. collects through the SourceMeter website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

We collect personal data in exactly two ways:

• The contact form on the home page. If you fill it in, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, company name and the message you write.
• Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept cookies through the cookie banner, we use Google Tag Manager to see how visitors use the site.

That is the complete list. The download page does not have a form of its own: it links directly to the free-tier downloads, and for the paid tiers it links to the contact form described above. It does not collect a quote request, a VAT number or a billing address.

3. Why we process it, and on what basis

We use contact form submissions to answer the enquiry you sent us. Where the enquiry is about licensing SourceMeter, our basis also includes the steps needed to enter into a contract with you; otherwise it is our legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to us through the site. We use analytics only to understand how the site is used, and only once you have given consent.

4. Cookies

A cookie_consent cookie records the choice you make in the cookie banner. The Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them. You can change your mind at any time with the "Revoke cookie consent" link in the footer, which clears your choice and shows the banner again on your next visit.

5. Who else sees it

Contact form submissions are stored in the content management system operated by FrontEndART. Analytics data, only if you have consented, is processed by Google. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for as long as our business relationship with you lasts, plus any period we are required to keep business records for by law. Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the personal data we hold about you, object to our processing of it, or ask for a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@frontendart.com.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) at naih.hu.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our processing of personal data changes. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
